overcoming Depression with Ria Elizabeth

ep 76 podcast image.jpg

Depression; it’s something many of us experience, and not something we often talk about.

Depression coach Ria Elizabeth is here to talk all about it. She opens up about her own experience with depression and struggle to find the right help. Ria shares her story of being authentic and sharing her truth and how these tools helped her move through the dark times.

Ria advises those struggling with depression to practice honesty and compassion. Be who you are. And give yourself permission to be okay with your pace.

This led us into an interesting discussion on how getting help for your depression DOES NOT take away from your sovereignty. Sometimes, it takes just a little bit of curiosity from somebody else for things to start making sense in our own lives.

We also flesh out the differences between therapy and depression coaching.

Ria and I discuss current identities we’re releasing. Saying good-bye is never easy. She was so vulnerable during this part of our conversation. It was some deep stuff!

Ria is a Depression Coach. She uses powerful intuition-led coaching techniques & embodiment principles to guide her clients into a life full of possibility and joy. She is super passionate about her work as it initially helped her overcome her own depression, anxiety and binge-eating disorder. She lives in Miami, Florida with her husband and two children. Some of her greatest joys are eating chocolate ice cream, being in nature, and intuitively dancing. She looks forward to connecting with you!
