My name is Charlotte Kaye and I am a life coach, decluttering coach and host of the Cozy and Connected podcast. Through my life coaching services I help women be who they are and do what they want, guilt-free…while smashing the patriarchy and manifesting world peace.
In my decluttering services, my intuition based method teaches you how to build your decision making muscle which ensures that you will come away not only with a beautiful and simplified home, but also the innate ability to maintain what you have accomplished.
What I love most about my work is that I get to support my amazing clients in bringing their most authentic, confident selves to the forefront of their life. I love to help people to discover their true calling in life and incorporate that into what they do in real authentic ways. I truly believe that when we are following what lights us up we create a kinder more inclusive, world.
When I’m not working you can find me laying on my couch watching Netflix or shitty reality tv shows (hello Jersey Shore!) You can also find me at lunch or coffee with friends. I am really good at doing nothing and also get so lit up by spending time with people I love. Also, when the mood strikes you may find me working on my house, painting a room, reorganizing, or decluttering.
I have a degree in Women’s Studies from the University of Michigan and love love love thinking about gender and how it impacts our lives. I’ve come a long way from my first full time job at Cold Stone Creamery (where yes, I did in fact sing for tips). During undergrad I participated in the prestigious Development Summer Internship program and went on to work for 3 different organizations fundraising for important causes including a women’s organization and an LGBTQ+ organization, two missions I am super passionate about. This portion of my career culminated in being the youngest head of development in my organization’s 200 year history.
As the stress of working in a nonprofit started to get to me, I began to practice meditation, and it all sort of exploded from there. I spent most of my free time :
listening to hundreds of hours of podcasts
reading any personal development book I could get my hands on
getting certified as a mindfulness teacher
taking online courses around topics such as manifestation, learning to tune into your body, building a heart centered business among others
working with life and business coaches
My passion for personal development led me to creating this business, and I am so excited to now be doing this full time!
I am an aquarius, projector (human design), and red cardinals are my sign from the universe, I see them almost every day!
What makes me different is that I continue to do the work. I’ve explored the awesome and not so awesome sides of myself. I was put on this earth with an ease of knowing exactly who I am, even as that shifts and changes over time, and NOT APOLOGIZING for it. I openly share who I am without shame, I don’t give a single fuck what people think about me, and I easily set boundaries and say no to the things that are not right for me.
I’ve also done the scary things, I’ve put my whole self out there in a big and terrifying way. And being on the other side I know the freedom that comes along with it. People often say they admire what I’ve done but they, “aren’t brave” like me. I am here to tell you that bravery is learned, and it looks different for everyone.
So now… what about you? You are why I am here. I am here to help you take back control of your life and end the chase after other people’s expectations. I do this through teaching you how to set boundaries, end people pleasing, and take care of yourself guilt-free. It is my greatest joy to support you in rediscovering your most authentic self and put you firmly back in the driver’s seat of your life.
